I was at the Chicago Blackhawks game last night. In the 3rd period, something happened I had never seen before. Hell, something happened NO ONE had seen before. Scott Foster was put in as the Chicago Blackhawks accountant goalie. Wtf is an accountant goalie you ask? It's a goalie that books journal entries in his day job and plays his ass off at night as the Hawks net-minder. The crowd was chanting "Foster! Foster! Foster!" I'm an avid Hawks fan, but I did not know what was going on. Luckily, the guy behind me said his daughter's friend dates Foster and explained the story. I wake up this morning and find that Scott Foster, the accountant is not only the talk of Chicago sports but the talk of the country! Only in sports, only in Chicago can a homegrown talent like Foster raise to greatness that quickly.
